Ever since Lost ended I’ve been searching for a new show to fill the void in my DVR. Looks like it’s gonna be Mad Men guys. Now I’ve only ever seen 5 minutes of one episode and it was two years ago when the handsome guy wrecked his car and the lesbian looking one bailed him out of jail or something? Right? That happened…
Anyway, since I’ve never seen it, this is how I picture Mad Men. Let me know if I’m close.
Debonair ad agents bump uglies with their sassy assistants.
There is an obligatory old man in the office who calls everyone “son” and shows affection through “tough love”.
There’s no black people, ever, anywhere.
They often reference real events from the 60s and care about them WAY more than people actually cared about said events when they really happened.
Someone either gets slapped by a wronged spouse, or punched by a coworker at least every episode.
I’ve heard they drink a lot of scotch.
The lesbian looking one cries a lot. She looks like a crier.
